April Wrap Up and May TBR

Last month was the magical read-a-thon and subsequently my most successful month of reading this year! I managed to devour ten books and fall in love with various new series, authors and characters. My TBR this month is again quite ambitious but since I’m on this reading high I thought I would make the most out of it.

There’s clearly something in the water because everyone seem’s to be re-reading the Mortal Instruments! I recently watched the film and finally dived into the TV show and have once again fallen in love with this world and its characters (except Clary, she still annoys me!). Anyway my plan for the month of May is to continue re-read the Mortal Instruments and finally start the Infernal Devices.

During the O.W.L.s I finally started the Raven Boys and I have fallen absolutely in love with this series, so much so that I have to finish it this month!

April Wrap Up

I’ll leave a link to my O.W.L.s wrap up here!

May TBR

  • City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare – I forgot how much I love this series and the witty character interactions!
  • Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare – I’ve never read the Infernal Devices but my sister has been begging me to read it for years; this ones for you Soph!
  • Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater – Like I said I’ve fallen utterly in love with this series and I’m so excited to see where the storyline goes.
  • The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
  • Love is a Mixtape by Rob Sheffield – This is our Reading Between the Wines book of the month. It is an autobiographical memoir by veteran rock and pop culture critic Rob Sheffield about his relationship with music and how it has shaped his life. This isn’t something I usually read but I’m really excited by the synopsis.
